
Open kitchen for Meat 44 with heat radiator as eye-catcher

Bistro Romano was in need of renewal after years of being a successful bistro. The aim was to completely renovate the place to offer even more quality with fewer covers. That way, owner-couple Kristof and Anita could manage their business better and offer more selective, high-quality cuisine. The new concept was christened Meat44.

New concept, new bespoke kitchen.
They first had an exploratory meeting on site in Zottegem, looked at the space and discussed the customer's wishes and sketches.
For us, this project was very close to our hearts, as this became Håndwerk's maiden project. The result can still be viewed with great pride several years later.
Typically, the T-shaped cooker is partly integrated into the open kitchen. From the room, it is mainly the custom-made heat bridge that catches the eye. Lacquered in black with elaborate logo of the business, it remains the eye-catcher.
