Burgerlijk was founded by Niels and Jana who you may already know from De Ploatse in the centre of Deerlijk. It came about because corona forced them to switch to take-away. They were surprised by the massive turnout and interest from their customers, but also from new people. That's when they knew, they have to do something with this!

Coincidentally, there was a building for sale just next to the Ploatse. They seized this opportunity with both hands. With Burgerlijk, they want to take their well-known homemade burgers to a new level. Besides burgers, you can put together your own chicken buckets. As a side dish, they serve American potatoes.
